Position Summary:  The incumbent will be part of the Procurement function and will be responsible for following the end to end transactions between the organization and the vendors etc.  Major Responsibilities:  Sourcing/Procurement:  - Coordinating with other departments for product requirement planning, procurement and purchase planning, ensuring continuous supply at optimum costs.   - Handling sourcing through identification of cost effective vendors/ suppliers for procurement. Knowledge of Global FTA"s including ASEAN and other South Asian Countries.  - Vendor Management: Developing New Source through identification and work skills. Developing quality culture at vendors end through auditing and guidance.  - Supply Chain Management: Effective Inventory Planning based on Business Requirement and Utilization forecast.  - Cost Management: Initiating continuous improvement initiatives in processes in coordination with regular and New Vendors/Sources.  Quality Assurance:  - Identifying areas of quality failures and take steps to rectify the system.  - Practicing quality standards with key emphasis on improving quality.  Person's Specifications:  - Ideal candidate should have 2-5 years industry experience  - Strong exposure to international/ global sourcing from the China Market.  - Chinese speaking candidates would be preferred (Not a mandate).  - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel  Competencies:  - Entrepreneurial thinking mindset: Self-motivated and self-directed with an ability to think innovatively.  - People Management: Ability to lead, manage & develop large teams in a fast paced environment  - Passion for Results: High degree of commitment with bias for execution excellence  - Customer Focus: Ability to design processes, systems & create an environment for enabling customer delight.  - Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities  Swetha Reddy.
