Manager - Business Solution - Airlines

An exciting opportunity to work with a leading, fastest growing Airline company based in Gurgaon

The business solution manager will be a single point of contact from IT for the business domain assigned to and will be responsible for ensuring that business and technology are aligned and working towards achievement of common goals.

- He/she will be responsible for assigning priorities to IT projects and work with the business on behalf of IT to conceptualise the solution for development by the IT team supported by business.

- The solution manager needs to develop a thorough understanding of the business domain assigned to and also end to end processes and associated workflows.

- He/she will be supported by a business analyst and will be responsible for ensuring that all standards around business analysis are adhered to.

- The solution manager needs to ensure that solution is scoped correctly and translated into business requirements. He/she needs to also ensure that requirements are managed using standards during entire lifecycle of the project

- The solution manager will be responsible for building high level estimates and timelines in coordination with business and technology team and secure sign offs on these estimates by all relevant stakeholders. Detailed project plan will be tracked and managed by the development team and the project management office

- The solution manager will be responsible for implementing and managing the change request process. He/she will ensure that any changes to the scope / requirements baseline should be managed while balancing business and technology workload and delivery timelines

- Suggest process improvement and optimization opportunities

- Manage domain specific demand while also balancing IT needs and priorities for new developments, enhancements

- Provide weekly status report with all critical issues, risks and dependencies to team manager and PMO

- Proficiency in scoping and estimation methodologies, requirement management methodologies and standards, project management methods and tools and MS office
