Reporting to CFO /Business Finance Manager

Basic Function:

- This role holder is a part of the finance and accounts function at the company and the incumbent will lead the Business/ Financial Planning & Analysis function for the company.

Specific Responsibilities:

This role holder is a part of the finance and accounts function at the company and the incumbent will lead the Business/ Financial Planning & Analysis function for the company. Incumbent would be responsibilities for:

- Providing Strategic inputs and Finance support.

- Influencing the Profitability of the business through Financial Planning and MIS to Operations in India

- Analysis of Financial Accounts and Control.

- Plays a pivotal role in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, latest outlooks, etc.

- Tracks monthly financial, analysing differences between the actuals v/s targets / estimates and delivers BU specific KPI Dashboard indicating financial health of BU

- Continuously works with the Business as a business partner providing complete commercial support in decision making

- Challenges constructively the sales forecasts, marketing activities to optimize maximum returns in least investments and ensures optimum resource allocation

- Analyses Early Warning and Risks & Opportunities

- Supports in strategic planning, business development and other growth initiatives

- Ensures alignment with the global financial and management accounting principles of the company.

Education And Experience Requirements:

Education required: Chartered Accountant

Experience required:

- 2-6 years plus in middle to large sized Company

- Mandatory male candidates preferably from Mumbai only.

Knowledge / Skill required:

- Strong domain knowledge - Accounting, Governance- Controls,

- Exposure to controls in a FMCG/Services/Retail environment

- Orientation towards controls and control systems, with - Enabling- mindset- (approachability)

- SAP exposure as an ERP user / project person, especially FICO

- IT savviness - as an individual

- Commercial savviness - understanding of how accounting decisions impact business in Top-line / bottom-line terms

- Ability to understand the macro / industry implications - relevant for Governance role

- Business Finance acumen- ability to partner business

- Chemical / FMCG/ Retail/ Pharma Domain knowledge.

- Current Hands on experience on SAP R3 FICO Module

- Good Understanding of / Exposure to Expert Finance areas- accounting, taxation, MIS etc, for future deployability

Communication / networking skills- relevant for influencing:

- Learning, Innovativeness, Good analytical skills

- Self driven leadership, especially cross functional

- Opportunity Mindset - ability to spot business benefits through IT / Controls, risk management

- Ability to work in a boundaryless manner & influence people / collaborate across spectrum- Networking skills
