Designation : Manager Business Development

Reports to : SBU HEAD & COO
Job Description :
- The role is within an aggressively growing relatively new SBU of the company, where the candidate is expected to play a key role in helping the Business Head in driving sales and business development related initiatives for business build up.
Education Background :
- MBA from a tier I / tier II MBA college of repute
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from a reputed top tier college /university
- Excellent academic background (grades, institutions)
Work Experience :
- Tenure 3-5 years of experience in one of the following companies: FMCG or Consumer durables or building materials companies in the area of Front line B2B or B2C sales, business development, GTM, etc.
- Good consulting firms or equivalent with good exposure sales and marketing (as defined in the content areas). Min of 3 projects should have been completed in the area of sales and business development
Desired Content Areas: Sales & marketing initiatives, Go-to-market strategy, market research, Customer insights, Channel development and management, pricing etc
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables :
- Product Pricing & management of large number of SKUs across multiple geographies in a dynamic market
- Drive key strategic initiatives like Sales Academy, Sales acceleration initiatives etc to scale up the business and improve the performance of the business across multiple territories/ geographies etc
- Support on GTM design & optimization, Market research, data gathering, analysis and support on decision making
- New product / SKUs development, Identify new product/SKU needs or opportunities for expansion and help develop business case & subsequent successful launch
- Sales management, Weekly/ monthly/ quarterly Sales MIS and analytics both for B2C and B2B sales across various geographies
- Support on business performance reviews & Industry Analysis based on requirement and create mechanism for Business Intelligence
- Provide analytical support on key strategic decisions through information gathering and analytics.

- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to analyze / process data and information and gain insights to enable business acceleration. Able to dissect a problem into parts, prioritize issues, find data necessary to support analysis and come out with creative and practical solutions for implementation
- Results Driven thinks independently and delivers high quality results with minimal guidance and direction; displays high urgency for action and strong commitment towards achieving results; can operate effectively in environments of ambiguity
- Collaborative working, Able to work seamlessly at all levels including sales team, finance and operations team; commands leadership - presence/ respect;
- Strong communication skills able to articulate his / her thoughts confidently and assertively in meeting settings. Able to make crisp presentations.
