The client is a multinational IT solution provider headquartered in GA, US with an offshore delivery office in India (Noida). Role: Business Development Manager

Functional Area :

Responsible for creating business relationships & generating sales leads with potential customers for Sapieosoft in the Indian markets in the project based needs of the IT industry sectors. The lead generation will be in the form of face to face meetings & telephonic meetings with executives, decision makers in the IT, Government officials & business organization of the potential customer.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Identifying target markets, target accounts and services to be covered in the business development (lead generation) activity for Content Management System, Portals, Collaboration, Search, Digital Asset management, eCommerce, Digital Marketing Automation, Digital Asset Management, Web Development, Custom Application Development & Enterprise Mobile Application Development Sectors.

- Segment and Account level research & map the account, identify potential buyers, identify key needs & positioning of Sapieosoft services

- Coordinating the entire gamut of business development and sales activities for getting Software Development projects from Indian Market in Content Management System, Portals, Collaboration, Search, Digital Asset management, eCommerce, Web Development, Custom Application Development & Enterprise Mobile Application Development Sectors

- Facilitate to build effective sales/ business development strategy and formulate business development strategies and strategic utilization and deployment of available resources to achieve organizational business objectives

- Preparation of sales reports and sales forecast on a regular basis

- The most ambitious & progressive sales plan (annual/quarterly/monthly)

- To increase sales by identifying prospects and opportunities in Software Development space

- Gathering customer information and requirements to generate the statement of work (SOW)

- Responses to RFI/ RFPs, build relationships and close the deals, Responsible for Cold Calling and building Database of the qualified prospects , Maintaining extensive relationship network in Indian clients for getting repeat / new businesses

- Keeping a track of the latest developments through research and competition mapping in the outsourcing space

- Convert hot leads into face-to-face or telephonic meetings

- Client visits and identifying sales pitch

Creating and Tracking :

- Client Value Status and Strategies - Any Red Flags to be escalated appropriately to ensure there is no customer dissatisfaction

- Relationship Management and Customer Satisfaction across the accounts

- Working closely with Sales and Delivery to ensure that customer requirement is being met

- Responsible for first level requirement analysis and for interfacing with technical and delivery team to get the right set of technical people for discussion with the customer during pre-sales phase

- Responsible for preparation and maintenance of business presentations as per the prospect requirements. This will again involve close interface with the presales team and a good understanding of software technology areas

- Exposure of working with the Indian market

- Should have expertise in selling IT services to Government as well as Corporates.

Marketing :

- Develop tailored marketing programs (email / call campaigns) to increase awareness of Sapieosoft with prospects & clients

- Market research and analysis of potential geo / industry market segments

- Plan and manage campaigns to draw potential attendees for sales conferences / events & seminars where Sapieosoft has a presence

Tracking and Reporting :

- Updating MIS Report on a regular basis and log all lead related data in Sales Force , Proper reporting on weekly activity, target accounts, lead generation strategy and plan

Essential Education, Skills and Environment :

- Bachelor's Engineering degree required, with a full time MBA (Optional) Or Bachelor's degree required with full time MBA in Marketing

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Indian market in selling a mix and match of the domains mentioned below Content Management System, Portals, Collaboration, Search, Digital Asset management, eCommerce, Web Development Custom Application Development & Enterprise Mobile Application Development Sectors

- Candidates with experience in all the domains mentioned above will be given preference.

- Consultative sales focus for selling IT services and solutions

- Must be technically savvy (fair understanding of IT industry specifically in Content Management System, Portals, Collaboration, Search, Digital Asset management, eCommerce, Web Development, Custom Application Development Enterprise Mobile Application Development Sectors, typical services, client expectations)

- General understanding of IT market, customers & competitors who specialize in knowledge & Skills

- Possess excellent communication, listening and presentation skills, extremely enthusiastic, motivated, entrepreneurial and aggressive, strong negotiation skills, closing skills, diligent follow-up skills, flexibility, willingness to work in an unstructured environment, openness, less control, ability to work within a culturally diverse environment.
