They provide equipment to clients on operating lease model for a tenure of 2 to 5 years.   Location: Marol Naka, Andheri (East) Mumbai  Reporting to: Head of Business Development  The company is on the lookout for Business Development Manager (BDM) to enhance its present fast growth. BDM is expected to contribute to equipment financing and this by way of operating lease.  The detailed job description is given below:  New Business Development:  Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.  Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.  Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Research and build relationships with new clients.  Set up meetings between client decision makers and Head - Business Development  Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.  Participate in pricing the solution/service.  Client Retention:  Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.  Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.  Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.  Business Development Planning:  Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.  Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and sourcing channels.  Identify opportunities for new sourcing channels that will lead to an increase in sales.  Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.  Other qualities:  High energy and enthusiasm  Excellent communication and inter personal skills  Team player  Ability to engage with people across different strata  Integrity, honesty and high level of ethics  Education:  Education: B.Com or B.A - Economics or operation research  MBA in marketing or finance is a must  One to four years' combined experience in one or more of the following areas: sales of loan, lease or fleet financing and having worked/working in NBFC will be preferred  Intermediate level of working knowledge in MS Office required  Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English is a must  Salary Range: 6 - 10 LPA
