Manager - Branch Operations - Banking (10-15 yrs)
Branch Operation Manager - Banking
CTC : Negotiable up to 16 LPA, depending upon current CTC and relevant experience.
Job Purpose :
- To manage & control the functioning of Operations in the branch.
- Ensure processing through respective centralized units at Mumbai to meet customer satisfaction at all times.
Key Accountabilities :
- Manage, supervise, motivate, and train staff to build up an efficient, knowledgeable and professional team.
- Achieve and adhere to specified performance in turnaround time.
- Compliance and adherence to internal and external regulatory guidelines.
- Liaise with Auditors from Central Bank, Internal and Statutory.
- Ensure strict control over costs and display high level of integrity in all purchase dealings and contracts.
Job Duties & responsibilities :
- Provide guidance & training to the department on processing of transactions, adhering to internal & external regulations / policies.
- Coordination with internal & external auditors & ensuring satisfactory rating at all times.
- Ensure timely receipt of regulatory reports by the Branch from centralized office for onward submission to RBI.
- Monitor SLAs with the central operations unit in Mumbai.
- Control security documents at the branch and ensure perfection as per bank's policy.
- Monitor activities of the onsite Facilities Manager.
- Assist supervisor in the various initiatives taken.
- To be an effective backup for VP- Operations
Experience :
- Minimum 10 years experience in Banking. [ Retail banking / General banking Ops].
- Demonstrated track record in managing and leading Operations team. Current team handling mandatory.
Education / Preferred Qualifications :
- The job holder should hold degree of graduation in any discipline, post graduation in finance / law would be an added advantage.

- Leadership and management skills to effectively motivate and guide staff to achieve specified performance target.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer focus, planning and organizing. Responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.
Technical Competencies :
- Sound knowledge of computer systems, ability to understand and work on different software packages for delivery of various banking products.
- Understanding of MAS & RBI guidelines.
- Analytical skills

- Effective communication between self, supervisor and direct reportees.
- Interpersonal skills and team player.
- Co-ordination with other departments.
