We are currently looking for a Manager AUTOMATION for one of the Largest Dairy, Foods and Beverages Conglomerates in the Middle East to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Candidate Profile :

- B.Tech./B.E. - Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation. Experience with Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley PLCs. Experience with SCADA and BMS Systems.Detailed knowledge of implementing and managing planned preventive maintenance

Job Description:

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

1) To maintain and maximize operational availability of the process and filing /packing automated systems by providing adequate skills, material and management.

2) To meet management performance parameters by ensuring adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality, Safety and Engineering standards.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR):

1. To plan and execute planned preventive maintenance of Automation equipment by meeting demands of the site.

2. To maintain the integrity of the Process Software by monitoring software being entered on the system and regular archiving to backup.

3. To assist the project team in all automation related issues by liaising with external resources as required.

4. To ensure compliance to Quality Procedures by meeting Site target for continuous improvement.

5. To ensure adequate skills to meet sites present and future needs by identifying and planning staff development.

6. To ensure full implementation of Safety systems and safe practices of work by continually upgrading safety awareness and practices within the team.

7. To adhere to finance procedures by controlling the Automation spares and expenditure.

8. Assume role of Sr. Engineering Manager as required.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - ESSENTIAL:

1. Minimum of 8+ years experience in a similar role in a multi-product Food Manufacturing preferably from Poultry Processing plant / companies.

2. Detailed knowledge of process and packing control systems

3. Detailed knowledge of implementing and maintaining advanced automation systems and controls.

4. Experience with Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley PLCs

5. Experience with SCADA and BMS Systems

1. Detailed knowledge of implementing and managing planned preventive maintenance systems.

2. Familiar with PM/TQM

3. SAP experience

4. Experience with IP Network based industrial automation.
