Manager/Assistant General Manager - Legal - LLB - Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)

Looking for a highly motivated Manager/AGM Legal to oversee the legal aspects of a reputed Multinational company, provide general legal business operations and to ensure management of litigation and contentious matters.

This position is located in Mumbai.

What are my responsibilities :

- Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)

- Stay abreast with all related legal rules and regulations, policies & procedures and GRs and Notifications issued/amended related to Central and Gujarat SEZ Act and Rules from time to and implementation and compliance for HR functions and related Labour Laws, Liaison and coordination with Labour Commissioner, Factory Inspectorate

- Responsible for Indirect Taxation matter and related benefits under SEZ Act/Rules and customs clearance of import/export cargos

- Vetting of all contracts, MOUs, Lease Deeds, agreements, land records and

- conducting due diligence for land acquisition transactions

- Conducting training programmes, knowledge sharing exercise by way of

- conducting examination, preparation of SOPs on relevant subject.

What do I need to qualify for this job :

- Law graduate (LL.B) from a reputed university with good academic credentials

- Proven comparable 10-15 years of law firm experience

- Proven background on corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)

- Excellent negotiation and communications skills

- Administrative and managerial skills

- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail

- Computer skills
