Manager Analytics - Predictive Analytics for an MNC BPO in Hyderabad / Bangalore.

Job Description :

- Manage and improve short, medium and long-term inbound investigation forecasting across multiple geographies.

- Your focus will be to optimize forecast accuracy and to better understand and mitigate model variance drivers.

- This position requires a delicate balance in delivering models that are statistically grounded but also explainable operationally i.e., Operations and Capacity planning teams must be able to understand what variables impact forecast variance and how to respond tactically.

- This is a high visibility role with heavy interaction across senior management. Analytical ingenuity and leadership, coupled with demonstrated cross-functional operations partnership, are critical skills for this role.

- Build, maintain and improve inbound investigation forecasting frameworks/models that enable Operations to plan and handle anticipated investigation volume.

- Develop forecasts for new launches.

- Evangelize modeling improvements across WW Operations and gain buy-in from senior leadership on proposed improvements.

The ideal candidate has an accomplished professional background with demonstrated proficiency in advanced mathematics and/or statistics.

- She/he is comfortable creating strategic recommendations in a thoughtful, yet concise, manner and obtaining organizational buy-in at senior levels.

- She/he is well-organized, can manage multiple analyses/projects simultaneously, and is intellectually curious.

Candidate Profile :

- 4+ years experience as a business or operations analyst; previous forecasting experience is a must

- Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics or related field

Experience with one or more of the following tools:

- SPSS, SAS or other statistical software packages

- SQL or comparable data querying packages

- Excel and/or Access skills (intermediate to advanced proficiency)

Preferred:

- MBA

- Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills

- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment

- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads

- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions

- High level of dedication, enthusiasm, motivation, and persuasive ability in a team and cross-functional environment.

- Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills, attention to details, proactive self-starter. Should be willing to work in UK shifts.
