Advanced Analytics Manager

Summary of Position Responsibilities :

Overall responsibility for the experienced delivery and management of data analytics assignments to ensure that all business risks are anticipated, recognized, and appropriately managed before they can adversely affect the company.

Principal Accountabilities of Position :

Analytics :

- Advanced understanding of the analytical capabilities and ability to provide direction to the team.

- Understanding of various analytics tools and related technology infrastructure (like SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, R).

Domain Knowledge :

- Good understanding of insurance and financial services industry.

- Overall knowledge of Company's businesses and operations.

- Understanding of Audit lifecycle

Project Management :

- Client Services

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems or related fields of expertise

- 8+ years - experience with analytics, preferably in an internal audit department of a financial services industry

Desired Skills :

- Competent knowledge of different analytics techniques and concepts desired

- Competent knowledge of the operations, procedures and policies of assigned business units desired with strong familiarity with their specific business processes and transactions.

- Competent knowledge of generally accepted audit standards, and Corporate Internal Audit standards preferred

- Ability and experience in driving change in complex, global, matrix organizations.

- Proven track record to solve business problems

- Proactive and motivational leadership style in a collaborative team environment

- Customer centric

Other Comments :

Up to 30% travel may be required.
