JOB TITLE: Qualified Actuary/ Actuarial

JOB LOCATION: Bangalore, India.

Our Client help banks, insurers and capital markets organizations streamline their operating models, integrate risk and finance functions across the organization, align and integrate disparate sources of data, and deliver the technology solutions required to enable insight through analytics and better leverage the critical functions of Risk and Finance as competitive differentiators in executing their business strategy.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead, or serve as a subject matter advisor, in actuarial transformations, including operating model designs, shared services/Business Process Outsourcing, process improvements and technology enabled enhancements

- Conduct in-depth analysis of actuarial processes and recommend leading practice solutions

- Assist the team with actuarial expertise in areas, such as

- STAT, GAAP and Embedded Value Financial reporting

- Reserving

- Asset-Liability Management

- Capital Management and Investments

- Pricing

- Provide expertise in risk management practices, such as

- Risk Based Capital and NAIC requirements

- Solvency II and European capital requirements

- Enterprise Risk Management

- Compliance

- Develop strong client actuarial and finance relationships

Basic Qualifications:

- Qualified Actuary (All 15 papers cleared)

- Knowledge of P & C, Life or Reinsurance processes

- 6 years of actuarial experience and strong knowledge of actuarial concepts and methodologies in financial reporting and risk management and/or in the insurance industry or with a consulting firm

- 2-3 years consulting experience in a top tier consulting firm

Preferred Qualifications:

- FIA or FIAI or FSA

- Experience with actuarial pricing, modeling and valuation

- Strong technical system skills with Microsoft products (i.e., Excel, Access and PowerPoint), and knowledge of actuarial pricing, modeling and valuation systems

- Project management skills
