Qualification

Graduate or Postgraduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering or Econometrics.
Statistical Analyst - Postgraduate in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics

Experience

Technical Knowledge Ideally at least 4 – 6 years of experience within an actuarial team in Life Insurance and a good understanding of techniques and software's

Essential :

- Member of IAI or IoA, minimum 6 Actuarial exams.

- Proficiency in PROPHET/MGALFA/IGLOO

- Proficiency in MS-Office including VBA.

- Should have experience in handling team members.

- Skills/ Attributes excellent technical communication skills both oral and written.

Preferential:

- May hold full or part MBA, CA or CFA.

- May hold Diploma/Degree in Insurance Risk Management.

Life Insurance professionals to deliver Prophet Modeling/Valuation / Pricing services. This individual has the opportunity to manage a team of actuarial professionals and develop cutting-edge analyses, strategies and solutions addressing the wide range of risk financing issues facing our clients.

- Validate pricing and valuation models.

- Sign off the data and assumptions.

- Discuss the key results/reports with the onshore team

- Support the implementation of complex Finance transformation programs in order to improve the accuracy and timeliness of the results.

- Ensure smooth operation and delivery of assignments (SLAs).

- Develop technical and client specific knowledge community within the team.

- Coordinate for the project/Additional requirements with the client.

- Support the implementation of complex Finance transformation programs in order to improve the accuracy and timeliness of the results.

- Ensure cross training within the team to build overall knowledge around the process.

- Develop good working relationships with onshore team to ensure sound understanding of client needs.

- Ensure quality and peer review procedures are followed to comply with agreed standards.

- Implementation of continuous process improvement.

- Setting up key result areas (KRA) for the team members.

- Ensure attrition in the team is within the permissible organizational limit.

- Perform team appraisals and ensure periodic conduct of Reward & Recognition activities.

- Ensure appropriate legislative and regulatory standards are met.

- Progress in professional qualifications.
