Therefore Oxfam India is seeking a qualified Charted Accountant, with minimum 7 - 8 years of experience (excluding articleship) in a relevant field.   - The Manager - Accounts, Audit & Compliance is a key position that will manage the regular accounting, conduct auditing and ensure all statutory compliance.   Principal Responsibilities:  - Regular financial accounting and monitoring.  - Develop and refine all financial processes in line with organisational needs and compliant to accounting standards.  - Coordinate and manage statutory and internal audit.  - Develop organisational focus and implement cost control measures.  - Efficient management of banking relations, investments and all treasury functions.  - Working with the Human Resources Manager in Financial Management of Staff Compensation & Benefits.   - Responsibility for the disbursement of payroll, Provident Fund and other staff benefits for Oxfam India Staff.  - Financial capacity building of all Oxfam staff and particularly the finance staff.  - Directly line management of FOs at Delhi and matrix management of FOs in field offices and oversee the transaction processing of expenditure at all locations.  - Management of Fund raising back office operation   - Ensure statutory compliance across the organization.  - Closely work with OI to create synergies & ensure compliance.  - Compliance to laws & legislations for all financial transactions across India.  Candidate Profile And Qualifications:  Must Haves:  - CA with minimum of 8 years experience (excluding articleship) with at least 5 years experience in providing the whole range of financial services to an organization and ideally with at least 2 years in the NGO or Public sector.  - Sound knowledge of all relevant laws and statutory legal requirements;   - Ability to work with a diverse group of people, in an atmosphere of mutual respect,  - Proven knowledge of computerized systems especially Oracle Financials ERP and spreadsheets; high degree of computer literacy and word processing skills essential;  - Ability to prioritize well and definite commitment to meet deadlines;  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;  - Experience in and the ability to train people in financial skills and procedures.  - Commitment to the aims and objectives of the organization.  Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
