Accounts & Finance:
- Ensure correct recording of financial transactions in books of accounts
- Review of accounting system on periodic basis
- Ensure timely compliances of all the applicable rules & regulations and timely payment of statutory dues. Viz. VAT, Service Tax and TDS
- Preparation of accurate financial reports & MIS to specific deadlines
- Help in preparing in annual budget, rolling forecast and cash flow plans
- Monitoring Inventory and consumptions for various product groups
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
- Developing relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers & regulatory authorities
- Perform various accounting and non-accounting reconciliations
- Implement financial policies and procedures
- Overseeing the Payroll process
Payments Management:
- Set up appropriate processes for payment to Vendors as per contract
- Ensure contractual obligations on payments are met on time
- Maintain good relationship with creditors
Legal & Secretarial:
- Liaison with Company Secretary in order to ensure compliance with Company law & ensuring secretarial records are up to date
- Coordinate with board of directors for various compliances under companies act
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent 2+ year of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial statements
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of core Accounting & Finance experience in Manufacturing/Trading Entity/Start-up
- Good knowledge of Accounting Standards and Reporting framework in India
- Knowledge of Tally ERP & Other accounting tools, prior experience of working on Tally ERP is plus
- Proficient with MS office tool viz. Excel, Word
- Good understanding of Direct & Indirect taxes
- Team player, Excellent Communication Skills, Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
