Manager - Accounting - Auto Manufacturing (5-10 yrs)
Monthly Closing : Work closely with cross India sites to ensure financial reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with US GAAP.
- Facilitate the communication of accounting guidance and assist in the appropriate GAAP adjustments
- Lead Balance Sheet Accounts Flux reviews to identify the potential accounting risks and errors through the abnormal movements analysis.
- Perform detail account reconciliation review prepared by each site on monthly basis, with the purpose to surface issues with material financial impact and to develop areas for improvement in the accounting and other business areas.
- Work closely with each site to ensure delivering miscellaneous report with sound quality and on timely basis to Regional and Global team.
- Develop strong understanding of both accounting and business processes and procedures to ensure on-going SOX and internal control compliance in each site.
- Liaison with auditors to address Critical issues in accounting areas and related operational activity.
- To coordinate on other ad-hoc projects.
Desired profile of the candidate :
- Bachelor degree or above in finance & accounting
- 5+ years experience in Accounting functions
- Work Experience in a Manufacturing Facility or Public Accounting Firm a plus
- Experience of MFG pro (or SAP) and Hyperion is highly desirable
- Good interpersonal communication skills/outgoing personality
- CPA/CA is preferable
- Fluent in both verbal and written and English.
