Management Consultant/Engagement Manager - Global Management Consulting Firm

The focus is on providing strategic advice and executing change across Strategy, Process, HR, and IT. Our client has won the prestigious - Best Advisory Firm- award in 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2106. Our clients are looking at hiring Management Consultants / Engagement Managers to be based in Mumbai. The positions will involve extensive international travel.

We have the following vacancies:

1. Engagement Manager-FinTech Practice: The Role includes managing consulting projects as part of FinTech practice. While the primary focus is to work on IT Strategy / Application Selection / Program management engagements, CIO Advisory, Program Assurance/ Health checks, there will also be significant opportunities to work on engagements across strategy formulation, process and business transformation areas.

Engagements involve building business ownership and coordinating with client team - business & technical, and with vendor personnel. Our Client's FinTech practice has rich experience in Evaluation, selection and project management across leading vendors of Core banking, Treasury, Trade Finance, Enterprise GL, Cash management, Credit Card, Risk Management, Data Warehousing systems and other applications.

Job involves extensive use of office applications - PowerPoint, Excel & Word. We have offices in global cities, and a large number of projects presently executed in the Asia/Middle East region.

Primary responsibility includes consulting engagement delivery, client relationship, team management and assistance in identifying cross-sell opportunities within existing relationship.

Candidate Profile: MBAs from premier B-Schools with 7-10 years experience of which the recent few years must be on Project-lead / PM roles. Must have good understanding of BFSI vertical and Core banking. PMP/ Prince certification will be an advantage

2.Engagement Manager-Management Consulting: The Role includes managing consulting projects with focus on Financial services clients. Profile of engagements cut across strategy formulation, Balanced Scorecard development, process realignment, organizational restructuring and technology transformation areas.

Typical areas of focus include corporate & retail banking, cards, wealth management, Treasury, Technology and Operations. Rich understanding of Digital innovations, Fintech and industry standard technology platforms will be valued. Experience in both formulation and execution areas will be key.

Primary responsibility includes consulting engagement delivery, client relationship and team management. Role includes active client engagement across senior / middle level, issue identification, solution development and presentation.

As an EM, additional responsibilities also include proposal development and cross-sell within existing client relationships.
