Company: Makemytrip.com   Location: Gurgaon  Department: Product Management   Title: Product Manager - MOBILE   Experience : 3-7 years  Role   Makemytrip is looking for a passionate Mobile Product Manager to lead the rapidly growing product development efforts of our Android & iOS apps. In this role you’ll drive mobile product development using your expertise in mobile user experience and design along with your history of planning successful product releases.   You will be responsible for identifying and defining new best-in-class mobile product experiences that delight consumers   Responsibilities   - Ownership of the product  - Preparation of yearly product plan with financial targets and actions.  - Oversee and manage the product on daily basis.  - Continuously tracking and monitoring the competition and preparing benchmark report on the same.  - Collaborate with usability and technology team to develop a deep understanding of customers, identify gaps in core product functionality and help build right set of features and track adoption for same  - Rigorously monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with various teams to take corrective actions if needed  - Gather detailed functional requirements and create product requirement (PRDs) and other documents to support rapid development and effectively manage trade-offs between costs/schedules versus customer benefits  - Ensure PRDs, flow diagrams and wireframes are properly translated to live site and drive problem resolution once new features have gone live  - Define and conduct market research to gain better understanding about user behavior and competition. Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action  - Engage in defining a strategic creative direction for product and marketing communication  - Provide analytics based insights to help marketing team optimize marketing spends  - Champion customer satisfaction by working with customer support team, oversee customer grievance resolution and trouble shoot in case of escalations  - Work with various support teams(technology, design, marketing, contracting) to manage operational issues such as fulfillment, external partner relationships, legal and other compliances and customer conversions.  - Work with finance and accounting team to identify key cost and revenue drivers for product areas, obtain financial evaluations from finance team for new business options  - Drive customer conversions and increase customer delight via system interventions as well as impactful contacts/leads management  Requirements   - Product Manager must understand consumer needs, convert broad ideas into rationalized product definitions and specifications, and collaboratively deliver products in a timely manner. He/she must be able to drive consensus among various stakeholders and articulate tradeoffs used in making product related choices & decisions.   Following professional traits are necessary requirements:   - Mobile experience is a must— experience with iOS and android apps and the mechanics of the Apple iStore and Google Play store   - Experience with mobile payments   - Must have mobile products live in-market currently, the more mobile platforms the better   - Strong consumer focus   - Innovative and capable of out-of-the-box thinking   - Experience with a start-up is preferred  A high level of interest and passion for consumer internet world is a necessary criterion
