This position requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of online marketing. Mostly, you can work with a team (and build a world class marketing team as we grow), generate a plan and get it done!  Job Responsibilities  - Direct responsibility in campaign planning and implementation, budget management, performance review, optimization, and analysis for all online channels across all MakeMyTrip businesses  - Manage the day-to-day marketing activities across multiple channels, including search (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing), display (GDN, Yahoo!, Rediff, Affiliates), social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora) and email marketing  - Define the lead generation vision and strategy for offline sales businesses for MakeMyTrip  - Identify new channels of traffic growth across mobile and desktop, perform experiments and scale new channels  - Evangelize new and creative marketing opportunities  - Manage senior stakeholders across product, marketing, technology and sales teams  - Drive efficiencies in online marketing spends and reduce cost of acquisition on a YoY basis  - Deploy systems, tools and technologies, marketing automation, and market intelligence tools, that ensure team productivity and efficiency with full metric tracking and reporting capabilities  - Develop recommendations based on high end analytics to drive decision making across various spectrums of online marketing  - Report progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for key metric  - Make UI and site design, navigation and conversion analysis recommendations to product and development teams  - Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness  Desired Skills and Experience  Qualifications  - You can do things, roll up your sleeves and get them out the door!  - Solid understanding of online marketing  - Minimum 7 years of experience in digital/online marketing  - Exceptional understanding of digital marketing across the various marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email, affiliate, display, and other innovative marketplaces throughout the web and in eCommerce  - Knowledge of the latest marketing tools such as Google Analytics, ADwords, Omniture, FB, LinkedIn, and Twitter (to name a few)  - Experience gathering site and channel data, data synthesis and analysis, quantitative evaluation, and developing data-driven strategic initiatives  - Experience generating actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports containing key marketing performance indicators (KPIs)  - Experience working with 3rd-party vendors, agencies, affiliates, and partners  - A proven track-record demonstrating positive returns on marketing investment (ROI)  - Experience working in a fast paced B2C/B2B company  - Experience with web targeting and personalization programs  - Ability to work in a complex systems environment involving multiple marketing solutions  - Ability to work cross functionally with internal teams  - Excellent written and verbal communication ability, along with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
