Position : Corporate Sales - Gift Cards

Location : Mumbai

MakeMyTrip is looking to hire an exemplary senior sales professional to lead and execute the corporate sales strategy for gift card in the defined territory (West India). In this role you be responsible for identifying, negotiating and managing distribution partnerships and executing the sales strategy roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Lead the corporate sales function for the Gift Card program in the defined territory (West India).

- Execute the sales strategy effectively to produce desired outcomes.

- Expand the reseller network and build strong partnerships within the trade.

- Manage Gift Cards budget and forecasts to achieve specific Gift Card activation, revenue and profitability growth targets.

- Manage internal reporting, analysis and insights around activations, redemptions and performance across partners and channels

- Bring customer and market perspective to the design and development of Gift Cards and ensure that we remain ahead of our competition in the field of distribution.

- Execute both strategically and tactically to deliver desired results

- Be a thought leader in helping to define the future of Gift Cards

Competencies and Skills required :

- Previous experience of 2 - 6 years with leading companies in the field of Corporate Sales

- Good client base of corporates in fortune 500 companies and large SMEs would definitely be a plus

- MBA preferred with a demonstrated amount of experience post MBA.

- Previous experience in effectively executing sales strategy with demonstrated experience delivering large projects.

- Proven record of data-driven decision making

- Familiarity with ecommerce functionality

- Familiarity with Gift Card program structure / functionality

- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external partners

- Previous experience managing third-party vendor relationships is a plus

- Demonstrated track record of creative and structured approach to problem solving

- Experience in similar domain in retail, e commerce, travel or FMCG would be a plus.

- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities

- Comfortable with extensive travelling within the country
