In addition, ability to motivate, coach mentor a diverse and geographical fragmented team will ensure success within this assignment AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) SUCCESS INDICATORS Handle a team of Business Development Managers to drive business KPIs. Plan overall course of action: - Proactively identify alternative accommodation opportunities and execute in a time bound plan. - Lead and engage discussions with Hosts to identify opportunities. - Continuously tracking and monitoring the competition and preparing benchmark report and plan to bridge gaps. - Manage Key Account Relationships- Internal as well as External stakeholder- Establish and maintain deep and long term relationship with Hosts. - Coordinate training of host on our extranet and the online business practices. - Review monthly production reports and provide feedback to high/low producing hosts. - Plan and execute market visits for BMs. - Work with various support teams to manage operational issues such as fulfillment, external partner relationships, legal and other compliances - Rigorously monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with various teams to take corrective actions if needed Manage Operational Activities with support from Business Development Managers to ensure revenue and Room night's growth including: - Negotiate and secure inventory and deals for Go-MMT. - Monitor, evaluate and report on individual accounts and markets progress toward weekly, monthly and annual targets; cull out insights for future course of action. - Ensure rate and inventory competitiveness - Participate in weekly - market review - meetings COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: - Possess strong analytical/ logical thinking skills - Should have played project and team management roles - You must have the ability to think strategically and analytically in order to effectively assess each assignment. - Ability to work in tight deadlines and under pressure - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Good Listening and comprehension skills. - Should be able to speak fluently a couple of languages out of Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam.
