Job description  Core Purpose Of The Job :  - Responsible for understanding, managing and continuously improving capabilities and performance of web analytics  - Managing data warehouse data and serve as the primary point-of-contact on all web traffic analysis and related activities  Areas Of Responsibility :  Implementation :  - Implementing codes/ tags for tracking of web, m-site and mobile app traffic  - Audit of all platforms implementation from time to time  - Front-end all tech changes in terms of improvement in tracking to make it more efficient for reporting as well as site loading time  - Work closely with the Product and Technology teams to continuously improve tracking and reporting capabilities. Support the analytic needs of a business unit by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture etc. Use standard BI tools, such as Brio, Tableau, Qlikview, etc to produce reports relating to outcomes  Reporting & adhoc analytics :  - Responsible for design, production and validation of web traffic reports. This includes both back-end implementation changes and front-end report design  - Summarize key insights for select reports which are delivered to stakeholders instead of just data dumps  - Standardize metrics, reports, tracking across multiple departments/ reports  - Work on periodic (weekly/monthly/daily) and adhoc report requests  - Prioritize requests for team member. Breakdown each request for team member to work on and be responsible for end to end quality of the reports/ adhoc requests  - Lead dashboard development & automation initiatives  Advanced analytics :  - Identify key trends from web traffic data to recommend improvements to key business metrics/ site experience  - Recommend methods to improve site usability and effectiveness  - Think ahead and recommend key changes needed to our approach for metrics tracking and reporting  Training :  - Train key stakeholders on data availability as well as reporting methodologies and tools  - Organize periodic training's in collaboration with the vendors  Vendor Management :  - Manage vendor relationship(s), auditing of services and contract negotiation  - Ensure latest offerings / upgrades are smoothly implemented within the organization  Success Indicators :  - High on customer satisfaction (see key relationships below)  - Keen interest in implementation of latest developments within web analytics  - Accurate and timely reporting  - Proper documentation of the relevant data for the stakeholders  Relevant Experience :  - 3Yrs - 6 Yrs years experience with minimum 1-3 years of web metrics analysis and reporting experience, including specific experience implementing and using web analytics tools, Intelligence OLAP tools, etc.  - Atleast 2-3 years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Google Analytics, Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, CoreMetrics, Mobile app tracking tools such as MAT etc.  - Expertise in Omniture tracking, implementation and reporting  - Expertise in debugging tools such as Charles, Omnibug etc.  - Experience in team and vendor management
