Manager - Taxation (Job Description)  Job Description :   To manage the Direct and Indirect Tax matters of the Company in line with Company objectives and Tax Laws.  Main Responsibilities :   - Ensure full tax compliance in the organization for both Direct & Indirect Tax Laws.  - Ensure smooth transition/migration to new GST regime  - Ensure correct and timely filing of all tax returns, forms, payment of taxes for both Direct & Indirect Tax Laws  - Update on regulatory amendments, update internal stakeholders & ensure systems & processes for compliance with the same  - Ensure proper transfer pricing mechanisms for different transactions with different related parties and ensure maintenance of documentation for the same  - Publish monthly tax compliance dashboard  - Ensure monthly archiving of the tax related documentation  - Liaise with tax departments and tax consultants for notices, assessments, etc.  - Periodic knowledge distribution to internal colleagues about different taxes that affect their daily life  - Chartered Accountant with 5-10 Years relevant post qualification experience in organization of repute  Knowledge, skills, and abilities required :  - Sound knowledge of Direct Taxes including transfer pricing and DTAA  - Sound knowledge of Service Tax  - Working knowledge of VAT/CST   - Experience of handling Transfer Pricing and Income-Tax assessments, notices etc and liaise with Tax Office and Consultants  - Experience of handling audits &assessments etc for indirect taxes  - Individually and with the help of finance and cross functional dept. driving tax related data compilation  - Work objectively, focused manner and aim to complete task in a time bound manner
