Sr DRC Analyst  Key Responsibilities :  Mine, explore and examine large data sets from multiple disparate sources  - Formulate and test hypotheses to spot trends and patterns which create value, e.g. cost savings  - Create forecasting models for best practice sharing, budgets etc.  - Focus on outliers and drill down into root causes  - Spar on ideas within the DRC Analysis Team, CL stakeholders and subject matter experts  Key Skills:  Systems and data :   - Proficient in predictive modelling, advanced analytics by means of analytical tools, such as SAS or R  - Proficient with MS Excel and MS Access application, including Excel functions  - Strong competence in data mining, analyzing large and complex data sets from different sources  - Experience with BI platform/application  Analytical skills :   - Ability to spot trends when examining data from different sources  - Used to formulating and testing hypotheses  - Ability to question existing assumptions and processes  - Fast learner, eager to apply knowledge to new situations  Personal competences :   - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English  - Comfortable to work autonomously and in a team  - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with people both internally and externally at all levels of the organization  - Comfortable to navigate in a dynamic, project management environment  Qualifications and Experience :  - Master degree/PHD in mathematics, statistics, operations research or similar  - Solid foundation in computer science, modeling, statistics, analytics and math  - Three to six years experience within a similar position
