Maersk - Manager - Process Excellence (10-14 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

Closely work with transformational leader(s) and support creation of process improvement objectives for the process.

Work closely with multiple and diverse stake holders to drive process changes in process value streams.

Lead and support transformational projects towards efficiency / effectiveness & change management associated with the transformation.

Support PEX function in planning and deployment of various frame works and PEX practices

Act as mentor for GB and BB project certification

Act as a on the floor coaching to PM's and TL's on the floor

Act as a - go to person- to global process leads & leaders to support transformation initiatives.

Position Specifications:

- An experienced BB with typical 8 to 12 years of Industrial experience & 4 to 5 years of post BB certification

- A graduate, preferably with strong understanding of how process excellence can be used to meet business needs

- Strong change management and mentoring skills.

- Proven strong communication skills. Ability to interact with various levels of organization & engage/Motivate the leaders towards process excellence mind set.

- Experience in similar position in a BPO and or Manufacturing entity

- Highly result oriented and able to work under pressure

- High analytical /Problem solving skills.

Technical Skills:

- Black belt certification with proven experience in coaching manage rs and staff.

- Strong leadership skills

Learning Description:

Analytical Ability: The ability to systematically think through a problem. It implies the ability of an individual to identify patterns in seemingly unconnected events and the ability to understand a situation by breaking it into smaller pieces and tracing the implications of a situation in a step-by-step way. It includes organizing the parts of a problem or situation in a systematic way.

Interpersonal Skills : Ability to deal with various people and to build professional relationships. Being diplomatic in approach, understanding the attitudes, interests, needs and perspectives of others; ability to listen to others viewpoint. Ability to get things done from others in a friendly but firm manner.

Oral / Written Communication :Ability to articulate and put forth ones viewpoint and understand others messages effectively and clearly. This may involve: verbal, non-verbal, written and/or electronic messages.

Process Orientation :The ability to provide a structured approach / plan which can be replicated independent of individuals and the results can be achieved consistently.

Result Orientation :Ability to pursue everything with energy & need t finish. Self starting & proactive than reactive steadfastly pushes self & others for successfully achieving if not exceeding targets. Utilizes the given facts effectively, thinks beyond the obvious, does a cost benefit analysis & comes up with the final result.

Need to have:

Graduates /Post graduates who are BB certified with 3 to 7 years of post BB certification. Over all experience 8 to 15 years.

Ability to run large BB projects, Coach middle level managers and drive changes

Good communication, training and stake holder management skills.

Implementation experience in QMS standards like ISO, COPC

Implementation experience in lean, TQM, operational excellence etc.

Nice to have:

Engineering background with Manufacturing+ services experience

MBB certification.
