Maersk Line - Operational Procurement Manager (5-15 yrs)
Maersk Line is looking to hire Operational Procurement Manager for our Mumbai location.

Key responsibilities :
- Handles most situations independently and is guided by policies, procedures and the business plan, but will seek advice and guidance on more complex issues
- Develops the team coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent and bench strength.
- Assist with Sourcing (consultants, software and hardware)
- Meet and exceed KPIs by performing error free work
- Accurate update of task status in Workflow tool
- Prompt and effective response to email system
- General reliability as a team member
- Handling day to day communication with stakeholders
- Ensure no fines or penalties are imposed, prevent claims
- Provide suggestions to improve efficiencies
- Generate ideas for process improvements
- Internal contact with various departments Maersk Line Offices.
- Participate and lead internal team meetings and contribute with ideas
- Achieve productivity targets as to improve the overall performance of the team.
We are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of managing experience
- 2-3 years of Sourcing and Contract negotiations
- 2-3 Years of Purchase Order handling
- Accounts Payable knowledge will be added advantage
- General awareness of the practical side of Operations & Cost Management
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges in the Mumbai team
- To be part of a team, handling systematic processes for conducting tasks related to purchasing of hardware, software, consultants etc. and handling the financial input/output between HQ Finance Operations and other stakeholders.
- Will be accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
- Conducting tasks that ensures the highest possible quality in the output from the team.
- Conducting tasks that ensures that the team delivers on the Key Performance Indicators given.
Technical Skills:
- Extremely good English skills
- Good knowledge of MS-office
- Ability to follow-up with External/internal Stakeholders via Email/Phone
- Knowledge of SAP SRM
- Knowledge of SAP R/3
