Manager - Inland Cost Recovery and Process Improvement, Operations  We are looking for an Operations professional to join the Maersk Line India Cluster Operations team.  India Cluster operations is spread across 44 inland locations and 16 port locations with over USD 100 million inland cost. As part of the Intermodal Cost recovery team you will be responsible for driving cost leadership through Vendor Management and bring about simplification through Process Improvement for the cluster. This role will involve working in close coordination with the regional teams within India cluster and ensure adherence of Maersk standard operating procedure by all the vendors and location operation teams.  We offer :   An excellent opportunity for the right candidate where you will further learn and understand the core components of Maersk Line Operations and be an integral part of the shipping business.   You will work in a truly international environment and have various opportunities to engage and work with multiple internal and external stakeholders; which will greatly enhance your business knowledge, communication and stakeholder management skills.  Key responsibilities :  Vendor Management :   - Actively propose new ideas for continual improvement and simplification of operations processes.  - Liaise with Location operations and vendors   - Drive vendor management process in coordination with the regions to promote high level of performance on customer interface processes  - Monitor adherence of vendor engagement plan and drive culture of objective performance assessment with most critical vendors  - Ensure key process parameters are a part of the vendor scorecard and SLAs are accordingly incorporated under the contract  - Coordinate cross functionally and drive process to actively seek customer feedback on vendor performance  Process Management and Improvement:  - Support process improvement opportunities for effective and efficient execution of cargo delivery process within Maersk Line India Operations  - Manage operations repository of standard procedures and policies and effectively communicate with location operations team for implementation and subsequent adherence of the same  Key Performance Indicators :   - Cost Leadership - Contribution to Operations saving plans and Inland Profitability  - Adherence to Vendor Management and Engagement Calendar  - Implementing best practices and simplifying processes  We are looking for :   The ideal candidate will be a person with 5+ years of experience and who is a dedicated team player, can interact with other functions with strong communication skills :  - Certified Green belt   - Capable of driving efficiency, standardization and process compliance  - Has a sense of urgency and result orientation - thereby delivering objectives and increasing business performance by effective stakeholder management  - Analytical, creative thinking, persuasive mind-set and eye of improvement  - Proficiency in MS office
