Manager - Equipment (Operations)  We are looking for an Operations professional to join the India Cluster - Equipment team.  You will be responsible for all equipment operations relating to management, processes, procedures and implementation. You will work closely with other teams in Operations and Commercial Functions to ensure service reliability is maintained and improved so as to provide the best optimal service to customers.  An excellent opportunity for the right candidate with Operational experience where you will further learn and understand the core components of Maersk Line Operations and be an integral part of the shipping business.  You will work in a truly international environment and have various opportunities to engage and work with multiple internal and external stakeholders; which will greatly enhance your presentation and communication skills.  Key Responsibilities :   - Effective management of empty containers and assist in all aspects of equipment management related activities for assigned region.  - Driving the equipment costs and achieving cost leadership as well as driving the Operations Cost Recovery (OCR) initiatives  - Vendor management  - Ensure that equipment is made available as per the sales forecast to ensure nil lost bookings for assigned region.  - Find cost effective ways of positioning/evacuating equipment to reduce positioning costs   - Daily inventory management and coordination with storage / repair yards, location operations teams to ensure that requirements of customers are met  - Drive triangulation competition across locations to achieve best possible results both on reuse and alternate dropoff/pickups  - Forerunner in driving reduction in equipment imbalance across locations in assigned region  - Establishing good relations with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to Rail operators, transporters, yard operators, Country and Centre teams, while actively contributing and learning from best practices  Who we are looking for :   - The ideal candidate will be a person who is a dedicated team player, can interact with other functions with strong communication skills  - Capable of driving efficiency, standardization and process compliance  - Has a sense of urgency and result orientation - thereby delivering objectives and increasing business performance by effective stakeholder management  - Total 3-5 years of experience in Operations specifically under equipment management is preferred.  - Proficiency in MS office
