Maersk Line - Manager - Business Process Owner - Tender Contract Management Team (10-14 yrs)

The Tender Contract Management team is a newly established off-shoring initiative in Mumbai GSC handling Maersk Line's largest tenders in a centralized process and we are looking for someone to help us take our pricing skills to the next level and structure our data to enable us to improve our overall tendering approach.

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent of this role will be jointly responsible with the TCM BPO manager for designing the TCM Process. While making decisions along with Sales and representing as the Sales BRG and BPO member. Successful candidates will be responsible for building and converting a healthy tender pipeline in line with the business build plan. Overall responsible for execution, delivery and issue resolution of any new policies and simplification drives. The incumbent should put customer at the centre of all decisions.

- Standard Tender process to be followed across all customer segments and sites

- Driving AFLS minimum standards

- Build and Maintain a healthy tender pipeline and identify tender influx

- Be an ambassador for sales and tender process; work with the TCM and TNM teams to ensure seamless execution of tenders and contracts, along with proper documentation

- Work with the LTCF/WWWT project team to have the entire long term vision fulfilled

- Close coordination with TNM BPO to design strategies that will enable the digital journey.

Who we are looking for

- Minimum of 5 years- experience within Maersk

- End to end shipping knowledge on upstream and downstream processes

- Strong communication skills for internal and customer communication

- Fair understanding of customer pain points in the tender and contracting processes

- Leadership Competencies: While this is an IC Role, this role requires strong leadership skills. Being a - Leader of others- would be an advantage

- Communications: A strong communicator with a clear and concise presentation style, who can convey, with consistency in a manner that is readily accessible and understandable to stakeholders

- Organisational buy-in: Good leadership and influencing skills; must demonstrate the ability to secure buy-in at all levels within the organisation.
