Maersk Line - BPO Pricing Manager (10-15 yrs)
Position: BPO Pricing Manager
Experience: 10 - 15 years
Work Location: Chennai
Job Purpose/summary:
The BPO Manager ascertains that the Operating System is running, self-sustained and stays relevant to business requirements.
This includes:
1) Process
2) Process and result measures
3) Steering meetings
4) Roles and responsibilities
5) Standard reports and interfaces with other processes.
Process ownership resides with Process BRG and Chairman, consequently governance of standard and decisions on improvement are done in co-operation with the business execution. The BPO Manager supports the execution within the designated scope while managing GSC and MLIT to keep the operating system running and deliver continuous improvements to the Operating System.
Furthermore the BPO Manager will be involved with - The Simplification Programme- for given Operating system as SME and recipient of hand-over upon stabilisation.
Finally, the BPO Manager will provide 2nd level support to the organisation and coordinate across issue resolution across the value stream/process scope. He / She will act as the single point of contact for all the regional brands and would directly liaise with Revenue Management Leads across brands
Key responsibilities:
Running the Operating System (35%)
- Ensure the trades & revenue management deliver on business standards
- Ensure the execution of Pricing Process runs with robust systems, tools and BI
- Ensure the performance follow-up process on both contracting and revenue management
- Provide process related training incl. the application of theoretical decision making
Review the Operating System (20%)
- Continuously challenge the as-is Operating System to identify improvements
- Work closely with BPM to spread learnings on optimal performance follow-up
- Establish and run process BRG incl. decision support for improvements
Continuous Improvement (25%)
- Drive BRG agreed improvement projects
- Seek opportunities for further integrate processes and tools, also beyond own scope
Transformation Effort (20%)
- Anchor and stabilise Pricing Process
- Participate in transformation through own work and involvement with TSP
Required qualification:
- Project management
- Stakeholder engagement skills (note that the stakeholders will be more senior than those for other process areas, TMs and HoTs)
