Education required : CA/CMA Qualified/ UG/PG Commerce
Key Responsibility :
- Strong Inter-company accounting knowledge
- Liaising with CSO/OPS to align the FACT and the intercompany systems.
- Prepare and issue Inter-company controlling reports to intercompany customer and business unit.
- Responsible for the Country's Inter-company Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly completion and swift resolution of outstanding items.
- Follow up on Inter Company On account, suspense account and Debit balances
- Implement business change in accordance with plans
- Own and be accountable for accurate Inter-company data
- Filling and achieving for hard and soft copy of Inter-company related docs
- Ensure overall Inter-company controlling process adheres to the Global Standards set by the organisation
- Establishment of and follow up on relevant financial measurements for AR departments/ teams/ individuals
- Proactive identify, analyse and evaluate potential financial risks/upsides and mitigate these with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure all KPI's are met and maintained,
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure local, global and legal requirements are met
- Participate in and support improvement projects.
Principal Accountabilities :
Transactions :
- Ensure that Accounts Receivables are Received in a timely manner
- Ensure that all IC Customers / Vendors are effectively managed
- Ensure that Invoices are Received / Paid in accordance with the Inter-company terms
- Ensure relevant financial measurements for Inter-company are met
- Reconcile daily transactions are reconciled between ERP's
Reporting :
- Own Inter Company reporting (Reconciliations, Book close)
- Coordinate the preparation of the Period end reporting/ Management reports if any
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company Intercompany operations
- Ensure and own KPI Reporting
- Any other reasonable adhoc requests from time to time made by the CEO or CFO or Finance Manager.
Compliance :
- Set up a Control assurance framework to ensure compliance and reporting to standing orders and system of controls over Inter-company accounting transactions
- Coordinate the provision of information to auditors for the annual audit
Job Knowledge & Competency;
- Understand the Operational business processes across business
- Basic knowledge of Operational concepts internally and externally
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in shipping or operation financial role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Technical skills :
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Strong knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
- Fair understanding of the intercompany business operations
- Graduate qualified accountant with strong academic background
- Demonstrable track record in a similarly complex role
- Experience in logistics and SCM business would be advantageous

Key requirements (in addition to normal qualifications) :
- Track record of delivering all aspects of accounting/systems controls across a variety of activities in a business
- Able to combine commercial knowledge and technical financial expertise
- Ability to work as part of a large multinational organisation, capable of influencing and understanding global view
- Strong interpersonal skills particularly motivational and communication skills
Salary Range: 7 - 10 LPA
