We are looking for an Operations professional to join the India Cluster Operations Leadership team.   India Cluster aims to deliver close to 1 million FFEs in 2015, the operations is spread across 44 inland locations and 16 port locations with over USD 100 million inland cost. As part of the Intermodal Cost recovery team you will be responsible for Maersk Line's Inland Cost recovery along with driving Vendor Management and process improvement for the cluster. This role will involve understanding of customer’s business and commercial drivers, market dynamics, operational complexities to drive process and initiatives which will help us achieve cost leadership in the market along with the volume target.  We Offer  An excellent opportunity for the right candidate where you will further learn and understand the core components of Maersk Line Operations and be an integral part of the shipping business.   You will work in a truly international environment and have various opportunities to engage and work with multiple internal and external stakeholders; which will greatly enhance your business knowledge, communication and stakeholder management skills.  Key Responsibilities  Inland Product Management :   - Price the Intermodal products with focus on cost recovery  - Provide end to end cost visibility at corridor level for all inland acceptance points  - Review and analyze the cost structure regularly to ensure inland product is profitable  - Drive and deliver inland cost saving initiatives  - Assist in developing strategy for Hinterland penetration to maintain focus on most profitable markets  - Country level ownership of data related to inland product, cost and transit time in system (MEPC)  Vendor Management:   - Drive vendor management process in coordination with the regions to promote high level of performance on customer interface processes  - Monitor adherence of vendor engagement plan and drive culture of objective performance assessment with most critical vendors   - Ensure key process parameters are a part of the vendor scorecard and SLAs are accordingly incorporated under the contract  Process Improvement:  - Country level ownership and management of India cluster operation’s processes   - Drive Cluster level ops change initiatives to support key projects like increase in productivity, reduce behavioural cost and improve Maersk Line presence in key inland markets.  - Explores problem areas and works on the solution for continual improvement of local ops processes  - Propose changes to the processes to ensure the outcome is aligned with India cluster ops objectives and also ensure alignment with global guidelines  - Set and prioritize processes based on business strategy objectives  - Set standards and ensure all key processes have a robust governance model to avoid frauds and ensure process compliance  Key Performance Indicators:	  - Cost Leadership - Contribution to Joint OPS saving plans and Inland Profitability  - Adherence to Vendor Management and Engagement Calendar  - Implementing best practices and simplifying processes  Who we are looking for  - The ideal candidate will be a person with 5+ years of experience and who is a dedicated team player, can interact with other functions with strong communication skills  - Certified Green belt or Black Belt  - Capable of driving efficiency, standardization and process compliance  - Has a sense of urgency and result orientation - thereby delivering objectives and increasing business performance by effective stakeholder management  - A candidate with a proven performance record  - Analytical, creative thinking, persuasive mindset and eye of improvement  - Proficiency in MS office  Kindly apply on the link:   https://jobsearch.maersk.com/vacancies/publication?pinst=005056A5088A1ED4BEBDCA1030361EF1&CallBackUrl=http://www.maersk.com/system/sapcallbackurl&userid=  Last date of applications : 1st June 2015
