L&T Insurance - CA Freshers

We are looking for CA freshers (1st attempt only -Passed out in -May 2013, Nov 2013, May2014)

Openings in functions like - Internal Audit, Client Accounting, Business Planning (wholesale vertical) & accounts.

A snapshot abut the main responsibilities would be:

Client Accounting (Please note this position would be based out of Mahape):

- Loan Booking- Creation of new customer CIF and new accounts as per set processes with respect to loan booking

- Receivables Management- Timely and accurate recording of client accounting information including relevant commercial terms in the system

- Loan Monitoring- Monthly payment advices to be sent to clients

- Termination Of Accounts- To issue No Dues Certificate on closure of the Account

- Reports/MIS/Customer Interface

Internal Audit ( This position would shuffle between Mahape/Kalina):

- Execute audits in line with testing plans/ checklist. Gather required data, check processes and documents and identify non compliance with process and regulatory lapses therein.

- Evaluate the internal control over assigned areas of audit, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulations. Identify any non-compliance for reporting as discussion points with auditee.

- Map business processes and conduct analysis to determine associated risks.

- Executing analytics/trend analysis by collating data from various sources for the consumption of the audit team.

- Investigate and perform root cause analysis on Risk Events

Accounts (This position would be base out of Kalina):

- Responsible for closure of books of accounts on monthly basis within 3 working days.

- Responsible for finalization of financial statements

- Ensuring the regulatory compliance with accuracy and timely like following RBI norms, Accounting standards, SEBI , FEMA regulations etc.

- Ensuring all day to day accounting entries with full control and accuracy.

- Ensuring all adjustment month end accounting entries.

- Analysis of monthly MIS and finding the reason for the variations.

- Closure of books of accounts on monthly with accuracy.
