Logistimo is looking for a Finance Manager with experience in Finance functions. Based in Bangalore, this role involves developing deep familiarity with the financials of the company and helping execute the overall finance function activities. The role will initially focus on managing the day to day operations, then taking on other activities over time.

Responsibilities:

Finance operations:

- Assist in designing and implementing internal finance processes to enable smooth operations

- Manage payments, billing, employee reimbursements, taxes and other day to day finance activities

- Participate in procurement activities and manage vendor interactions for finance related matters

- Understand compliance requirements and work with our accounting partners to ensure that the company is covered on all aspects

Working capital management:

- Periodically analyse cash flow projections and assist in efficient management of working capital requirements

- Handle forex requirements for internal teams and interface with the banks to cater to those needs

- From time to time, analyse investment avenues and assist in identifying appropriate instruments for investments

Financial planning, analysis and reporting (FP&A):

- Interpretation and reporting of financial information to the management

- Forecasting, budgeting and tracking

- Analyse hedging requirements and assist in implementing appropriate hedging strategies

- Occasionally make recommendations on issues that impact financial decisions

Build financial controls and systems:

- Build systems and processes to ensure smooth functioning of finance/accounts systems, including SOPs for all financial activities

- Build ERP (Tally) tools and other systems to track and monitor details and create summaries and reports

Requirements:

- Chartered accountant with over 5 years of experience across strategic and operational finance, including account finalisation, budgeting, reporting and financial modelling

- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Sage, Quicken, Intuit ProSeries, QuickBooks, Peachtree, Creative Solutions Accounting and Simply Accounting

- Excellent organization, writing and oral communication/presentation skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations

- Highly accurate and detail-oriented, with ability to work to meet deadlines

- Experience in start-up environments, mission-driven organisations, or technology firms preferred

- Above all, a highly organized, goal-oriented, self-driven, and motivated individual willing to view each challenge as an opportunity to learn, excel, and grow the company
