The Senior Manager/Director, Operations is a key role within the organization's India-based team. This position reports directly to the VP of Products.  Position type : Senior Manager/Director - Operations  Experience : 5+years  Reporting To : VP  Position type : Permanent  Location : Gurgaon  Key responsibilities :  - Ensure that all the support functions in the organization's India team work well. The heads of Admin, IT, Finance and HR departments would report to this person.  - Effectively manage the functioning of these departments to ensure that the work on the floor is managed smoothly and issues faced by teams in performing their day-to- day activities are resolved efficiently.  - Long-term strategic planning, with the view to delivering operational excellence.   - Effectively manage expenses to ensure delivery of internal gross margin goals. Be responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations  - Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.  - The ability to navigate through often competing priorities.  Education and Experience :  - 5+ Years of work Experience.  - Armed forces background with strong skills in team management is preferred.  - Any degree/certification in management will be a plus.  - Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
