JOB TITLE : Finance Analyst

REGION : AP

REPORTS TO : AP Consumer Controller

LOCATION : Bangalore

REPORTEES : Individual Contributor

KEY RESPONSIBILITY :

Managing all aspects of the financial process for the above mentioned Segment across the region

Support the Management teams (Segment Controller, AP Finance Controller, AP CFO and AP Segment lead) on all financial data, analysis. Provide guidance and support to the country finance teams on processes and policies

Drive and collaborate with regional segment finance teams to the achievement of all business & financial targets

MAIN FEATURES:

- Understand the analysis of Market & Other competitive data (Mkt Share/ Premium to mkt / Price bands)

- Review country segment business strategy and tie out to the mkt analysis suggest changes and ways to improve profitability.

- Help in the annual budgeting exercise at AP level for the segment and also Quarterly target process

- Capability to create simulations based on different scenarios

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly financial reporting and review decks at AP level by region/country

- Ensure timely, accuracy, quality of all financial reports

- Support monthly reviews with the Asia Pacific Headquarters teams

- Drive monthly reviews with the region finance teams

- Provide weekly, monthly forecasting of the financial & operational outlook vs. the targets

- Provide explanation on key business drivers based on the business results

- Provide recommendations on actions to be taken to improve on the business outlook.

- Independently drive the actions with the respective stakeholders

- Ensure good quality and in-depth analysis (Financial & Operation) to support recommendations for business decisions

- Drive ad hoc projects relevant for the re-engineering of processes and to support any changes in business models

- Collaborate with the respective functional teams (AR, Credit, Pricing, Claims, Business Control, Accounting) to provide the support to the abovementioned segment to ensure the efficiency of its processes and a strong control posture

Other requirements :

- Candidates with Finance and Accounting degree

- Candidates with at least 7-15 years of experience in Finance Planning and Analysis

- Candidates in a similar or FMCG industry would be a plus but not a must
