Legal Manager - Litigation - General Insurance (2-3 yrs)
To monitor status of Litigation and connected activities for assigned area.
Attend proceeding pending with Courts & other courts related matters.
To manage and administer the day to day proceedings of Litigation matters at different tires of litigation and co-ordination, follow-up with regional managers for same.
Liasioning with various internal departments and facilitating requirements of regional teams
To innovate practicable and feasible ways and means to reduce and mitigate the commercial risks involved in the litigations.
To develop comprehensive and analytical database with respect to the claims.
Giving legal opinions / advices on all legal matters to the Management.
Maintaining MIS and status report for all the legal matters and co ordination with external counsels
Timely submission of litigation reports/presentations to senior management
Must have skill sets
Knowledge of CPC, CrPC, IPC, Arbitration and Consumer Litigation
Knowledge of Corporate and Labour laws
Experience of Drafting and Vetting of plaints, complaints and other legal correspondences
Working knowledge of excel, power point
Education Requirements
BLS/LLB/LLM with at least 3-4 years litigation experience preferably in Insurance or other Service Industry.
