Our client is one of the leaders in Agro Chemical business, having strong presence in South America, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. Diversified into Agro produce, Chemical, Engineering and Organic Division.

Reporting to: COO

Job Description

- Provide proactive legal guidance, advice and problem solving on a timely basis to the Company. Such guidance would include in a broad spectrum of subject areas with focus on day to day business and legal issues.

- Identify and anticipate potential legal issues that may develop with current or planned client business objectives and take initiative to address them.

- Develop areas of practice to ensure organization effectiveness.

- Develop legal practices within the Company in conformation with the changes in the practice in law.

- Provide legal documentation support to intra agencies including the allied business groups through a team of Executives and Mangers.

- To manage the corporate legal support activities.

- To undertake legal structuring of transactions and relationships and advice business operations on legal and compliance issues.

- Handling and providing reports on regulatory compliance, corporate affairs, legal matters, etc.

- To review and negotiate terms and conditions and ensure quality checks for the agreement drafts.

- To handle contracts independently and deal with legal compliances.

- Drafting of various processes and standardization of templates.

- Attend proceeding pending with Courts & other courts related matters.

- Maintaining status report for all the legal matters.

- Co-ordination with external counsels for advisory and related matters.

Requirements:

Must have 12-18 years of experience in Manufacturing, Crop, fertilizers or specialty chemicals industry.

Education:

LLB, LLM. (Preferable from a renowned institution).CS will be added advantage.
