Legal Counsel (India)

Looking for a highly motivated Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of a reputed global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals, provide well-timed legal advice regarding its business operations.

The position is located in Delhi.

What are my responsibilities :

- Advise the businesses in India on a broad range of legal matters including agreements, transactions and local laws

- Draft, negotiate and administer a wide range of legal agreements

- Create cross-team collaboration; involve significant contact and coordination with business clients and other Legal Division colleagues in India and overseas

- Collaborate with management to devise efficient defence strategies

- Liaise with other functions of the businesses - Finance, Tax and Intellectual Property - to ensure that all aspects of agreements and projects are properly considered.

What do I need to qualify for this job :

Qualification & Experience :

- Law graduate (LL.B) from a reputed university with good academic credentials

- 7-11 years of experience in the legal field, preferably expertise in commercial/corporate law

Skills :

- Outstanding communication skills

- Proven ability to work as a member of a team

- Strong commercial expertise, is customer focused, self-motivated and business oriented

- Occasional travel at short notice may be required.
