Legal Counsel - LLB - Banking (6-10 yrs)
One of our Banking clients is looking for a Legal Counsel who has worked in a Banking role or with a Law firm where he/she has been exposed to Transaction Banking business and the Commercial Contracts relating to the business. The Broad responsibilities for the role is as follows :
- Structuring, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts related to Transaction Banking products such as Escrow Agreements, agreements with vendors and Corporates relating to Cash Management Payments / Collections, Cross Border remittances, Net Banking etc
- Advising Transaction Banking Group on legal issues and risks based on RBI Guidelines, Banks policies and relevant laws
- Assist Transaction Banking Group in creating as well as improving agreements and templates for existing products or for new products
Education / Experience required :
- Min LLB - 5 year Law course
- Min 6 years experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on complex commercial contracts
- Currently working for a Pvt Sector Bank or Foreign Bank. Those from Law firms with exposure in above areas can be looked at
