Legal Counsel - Litigation & Compliance - Healthcare/Pharma

Job Description :

- Manage regional litigation and similar litigation matters that arise in the ordinary course of a large multinational company.

- Instruct external law firms and counsels on litigation matters Pan India and in APAC region.

- Act as investigation lead responsible for conducting, independently and jointly, internal investigations, and coordinate with and manage other investigations, related to alleged violations of Business Conduct Guidelines and Corporate Compliance policies.

- Provide legal advice to business primarily in South Asia and secondarily in South East Asia covering contracts, transactions, claims and litigation and local law compliance.

- Draft, negotiate and administer legal contracts to help ensure that the businesses achieve the best practicable commercial deals whilst ensuring the legal aspects are appropriately covered and legal liabilities of the businesses are minimized.

- Provide appropriate training on relevant Ethics and Compliance and legal matters and procedures.

A good candidate must have :

- 7-12 yrs PQE

- Combination of litigation, corporate and commercial law experience in an MNC

- International exposure in work experience through litigation matters and transactions

- Experience in conducting compliance investigations and litigation-related investigations such as early case assessment.
