- Responsible for deploying the centrally developed financial compliance policies for and provide compliance related guidance to the various FC&A teams in the state

- Responsible for working with the Finance SSOC to periodically review, update and ensure that the state specific compliances are factored in all FC&A processes for the state

- Responsible for maintaining the records of all legal documents, approvals, consents, permissions and other important documents, and ensure that necessary approvals are obtained from NHQ Compliance before any communication is sent/ documents are provided to any external party

- Coordinate with respective departments to drive compliance under various applicable local laws / state specific regulatory and statutory standards /guidelines and facilitate any liaising requirements that the respective function is required to carry out with the concerned departments

- Coordinate with respective departments to ensure updation of the compliance portal with all the supporting documents, and ensure timely filing and submission of required documents / forms etc. with the concerned departments

- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability, and develop/ implement corrective action plans for resolution of issues

- Act as an independent reviewer and evaluate the compliance related concerns in all financial and legal and statutory filings and reports and provide solutions/ action areas for the same prior to submission

- Provide guidance and advice on issues related to interpretation of financial laws and regulations on a case to case basis within the state

- Ensure the implementation of the various centrally institutionalized processes, practices and procedures within the state through standard templates, formats and user manuals

- Ensure State FC&A Head / FCLT is intimated of the various judicial and regulatory developments along with their implications in a timely manner

- Liaise at the state level, with external entities like legal counsels, regulatory authorities, statutory officials, statutory auditors etc. on a regular basis and satisfactorily resolve any compliance related queries/issues

- Act as SPOC Compliance at NHQ for all compliance related activities within the State
