We have been retained by a renowned multinational client with strong presence in India and worldwide.   We are looking at a person to join them as Procurement and Purchase Leader for their India Operations, and based in NCR.   Job Title : Purchase Leader  Work Experience : 10 years minimum, 4 years minimum in new vendor hunting and developement   Job Description :  - Identifying and Setting up efficient sourcing practices across the South Asia region.  - Introduction of new business lines across the region.  - Manages the exploration, evaluation and development of an effective sourcing market for appropriate merchandise lines  - Direct 30% local sourcing from India.  - Identify and develop supplier base in Asian countries.  - Person would be responsible for sourcing across different categories.  - Person will be a part of the global procurement team  - Devising strategic sourcing action plans  - Team development and collaborative effort   - Leadership responsibility for co-workers working within the team.  - Acting as coach/mentor and guide the team to attain organizational goals.  - Facilitate development programs.  Eligibility Criteria :   - Project management competence.  - Experience in supplier startup operations and development of supplier base.  - Knowledge of total cost of ownership model  Location : NCR  Vandana
