We have this opening in Bangalore with one of our esteemed MNC client for their shared services division.   Following will be the responsibilities of the desired candidate:  Operations Management:  - Responsible for service delivery and Operations Excellence of the entire Procurement Services (PS) Domain. Ensure that SQDIC goals are met at PS domain level .  - Responsible for alignment & standardization of processes within the Procurement processes across all domain.  - Responsible for setting the strategic Sourcing vision and providing strategic Sourcing mentorship/guidance .  - Accountable for achievement of all GCSC Procurement Services annual operating plans  - Identify cross business synergy opportunities and present opportunities to key stakeholders to enable & drive growth  - Prepare STRAP and AOP for the PS Domain and ensure that the same is cascaded in meaningful manner to all strata of the Domain  - Strategic planning and growth of the PS domain and ensure process consolidation and cost efficiencies as and when required.  - Be the single point of contact between the Local Management and the Business Partners and ensure that the second level matures into this role as and when deemed proper.  - Ensure that there is cross-training and back up plans for all the processes within the unit.  - Ensure that there is a robust documentation available for each of the processes within the unit.  - Ensure that the process of MORs within the domains are conducted on a monthly basis and take corrective action as and when required.  - Responsible for driving ongoing Productivity across all process thru Process standardization, automation and application of six-sigma and Lean principles .  - Drive DFSS / Green Belt Trainings / Certifications across the various processes in the Unit.  - Develop annual goals in conjunction/alignment with the Business Partners and incorporate into individuals HPDs.  - Drive MRR and succession depth across the domain .  Transitions Management:  - Ensure that all transitions within the unit are seamlessly done by following the transition rigor and work with the Project Management and the Quality Focals towards achieving this.  - Identify resource capacity which could be utilized for transitions without adding new resources  Qualifications / Education / Skill set requirements:  - A Bachelors / Masters Degree in relevant field (business, engineering, technology, etc)  - Engineering / Integrated Supply Chain with a minimum of 18-22 years of relevant Industry experience with specialization ( 8-10 years) in Procurement / Sourcing Services. Certification in SCM will be added advantage.  - Should have effectively managed large teams (> 150+ ) of professional Buyers and Commodity analyst / Managers.  - Extensive experience (hands on) in handling Supply Chain Management work will be an added advantage. The Candidate should have prior strong experience in Procurement Operations and should have experience in all areas of Procurement Operations - Planning , Buying, Commodity Management , Analytics , e-Sourcing and Administration.  - The Candidate should have hands on experience in dealing with multiple ERPs as this role will involve extensive use of Oracle / SAP. The Candidate should also have experience in dealing with eProcurement tools and should be comfortable with working on various reporting tools which are web based.  - The candidate should have Good communication skills (verbal and written), as he will be required to liaise with Customers / Partners Globally.  - The candidate should have strong skills on all Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Access. This job may also require using various applications (Microsoft or others).
