Technical Skills

- Experience in Architecture, design, Interface with structured Software Life Cycle Development for embedded applications

- Knowledge of ARM/MIPS/ Coldfire/MSP430/dsPIC/8051 cores.

- Knowledge of strengths and weakness of processor vendors. Ability to interact with them.

- Knowledge & experience in processor selection

- Requirement specification review

- Proficiency in C/C++ languages & embedded programming experience. Ability to code and debug firmware application

- Manage and mitigate technical risks & issues

- Tools/IDE used for embedded application development

Job Description

- Architecture, high level design, interface and reusability of embedded application in metering, communication areas

- Requirement and vision execution

- Provide project estimation inputs & support in project delivery

- Quality of Deliverable & Preventive action

- Manage Technical Risks & Issues

- Product development feasibility & part/software obsolescence management

- Process & tool improvement. Automation

- Manage technology roadmap development as per need & keeping track of international technology trends, give updates to team

- Mentoring & Enabling team, team/people management. Acquiring new skills - both technical & soft skills. Will be responsible for improving knowledge/skill for Embedded function in Organization especially in new technology area. Managing all function group meetings & Technical Architect Group meetings.

- Presenting data and progress in score cards/management review meetings
