The company has two major verticals- Solar micro Cold Storage and Solar Pumping.   We are looking for a professional who will work in the company to lead the strategy development. The candidate would be expected to work with the Chief management of the company. The candidate should be dynamic and be open to travel. If the candidate is fun to work with, likes to challenge the status quo, takes initiative, likes solving challenging assignments this is the perfect place for him or her.   Responsibilities:   - Engaging in primary and secondary research to gather data to drive decision support for strategy formation   - Formulating detailed financial models to evaluate feasibility of business opportunities and build business plans for the same - Value proposition   - Coordinating amongst multiple departments to communicate the strategy to concerned stakeholders and put in place systems to track the implementation of the same  - Engaging in lead experiments to test out business cases   - Doing pilots and monitoring them   - Establishing pricing, value proposition, customer segment and channel for a offering  - Delivering proper sales mantra to the sales team   - Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.   - Refining value proposition of the existing offerings and also recommending new product launces in the existing verticals   - Work closely with R&D, sales and finance to drive quick decision making   - Conduct weekly strategy meetings and report to the key management on the progress on the strategy front   - Other duties as found to be exciting and as per the need of the company   Eligibility :   - Experience in strategic planning and execution  - Very strong analytical & problem structuring ability   - Should have knowledge of sample analysis, primary and secondary research   - Should be exceptional at Microsoft office- excel, PowerPoint, word   - Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  - Ability to build metrics, models and templates to facilitate problem solving  - Should be innovative, have perseverance and have the capability to think outside the box   - Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule  Preferred Candidate :  - Candidate should be dynamic, very good at communication, knowledge of regional languages preferred   - Previous experience in strategy, market research in agri space is preferred   - Experience of taking a product to market is plus - 5-10 years of experience on the ground is preferred   - Agricultural/ rural marketing and sales for high ticket products   - MBA from a reputed college, degree in agriculture is also a plus   - Understanding of agriculture supply chain, commodity price fluctuation is plus
