Lead - Sales & Business Analytics - FMCG (8-12 yrs)

Reporting To : Chief Operating Officer

Responsibility - To prepare strategic plan and converting them in to annual operating plans for the region with a business volume. Responsible for financial & market analysis and preparation of MIS for business performance reviews. Collate & prepare final budgets and monitoring business targets of volume, market share, gross & operating profits gets delivered.

Mainly responsible for providing management with timely financial reports & analysis accurately reflecting performance & integrity of operations, directly participating in business planning, decision making & implementation & achievement of divisional & corporate objectives.

Main accountabilities:

- Strategic Business Planning, Support Strategy Development & Implementation, Budgeting & Control, Pricing Decisions and Cross Functional Coordination

- Develop forecasting models and scenario analysis to guide business decisions

- Co-ordinate with Department Heads to prepare strategies and set-up objectives & targets aligned to overall business

- Identify short and long term critical operating tasks & meticulously track them to meet market share and profit targets

- Decide brand pricing and channel margin structures. Drive Price Management with Sales & Marketing

- Provide marketing intelligence and business analytics support to cross functional teams

- Perform competitors- analysis and inter plant benchmarking for better analysis and understanding of the cost and competition

- Analyse industry and economic trends to understand business linkages and its implication

- Understand consumer data to support market share, pricing, brand development & product improvement decisions

- Perform market Opportunity mapping to identify business growth areas includes pricing gaps, brand laddering etc

- Perform business analysis by leveraging multiple data sets ( Business Intelligence Tool, Market Research Findings, AVF Audits, Spot Tests etc.) to derive insights for Go-to-Market (GTM) plan

- Responsible for conducting monthly business performance reviews ( MIS Reporting ) and management decisions

- Tracking functional KPIs and reporting. Monthly Performance review analysis and reporting. Prepare monthly presentation for leadership review for feedback, action and decisions
