We are a leading Search firm catering to Executive Staffing for FMCG , Telecom, BFSI and other domains.  We've been mandated by one of our esteemed clients to help search for a suitable candidate for the following position:  Position : Lead - L&D  Location : Chandigarh  Position Objective :  Supports the business by enhancing the capabilities / skills of the organization to meet the business challenges through :  - Training & Development interventions  - Create a conducive work environment through Employee Engagement   - Enhance employee motivation through Reward & Recognition of superior performance  Job Responsibilities:  1. Talent Development  Identify & collate training needs for the assigned regin from Appraisals and in consultation with leadership  Analyse training needs and chart out training plan & Quarterly Training Calendar for building competencies & to cater to business needs  Identify appropriate trainer, support and facilitate program design and delivery and evaluate training effectiveness  Maintain & update training database- month-wise/ employee-wise - by 1st of every month; update training details for employees on the portals.  Collate training reports for the region and ensure timely & accurate reporting of the same in monthly MIS.  Ensure a minimum of 100 training mandays each month; ensure an average of at least 4 mandays/employee in a year.  2. Talent Engagement  Drive business relevant employee engagement & fun @ workplace through Engagement Team at all locations by involving employees in various events, celebrations etc.   Chart out Quarterly Calender of events in consultation with Engagement Team & oragnize atleast 2 engagement activities each month  Excite & engage associate employees  Ensure celebration of festivals, employees' birthdays & organize quiz/contests/sports on monthly basis  3. New Hire Orientation  Organize Bridge Induction for new joiners on Day 1 followed by Zonal Induction  Facilitate cross-functional induction for all new joiners & ensure that not less than 95% attend it within 30 days of joining  Capture feedback of new joiners on Induction process as well as on HR related queries & expedite solution, wherever needed   Welcome all new hires with a Joining Kit on the day of joining.   4. Employee Communication  Roll out monthly Employee Satisfaction Survey (dipstick)   Conceptualize content for in house magazine, coordinate with Corporate HR & ensure the reach of e-magazine to all employees across the region  Organize forums- like "Meet the Leadership", "Coffee Table", "Knowledge Forum" every month   Zonal visit once every quarter   Highlight cases of gender neutrality breach, facilitate complaint resolution, documentation of minutes & ensure quarterly reporting to Corporate HR.  5. Training Infrastructure : Setting up of training infrastructure  6. Developmental : - To attend seminars, exhibitions, training programmes and participate in HR Forums to continuously update knowledge.   7.
