Lead - IT Infrastructure - FMCG

Job Summary: You will work closely with global IT Teams to expand the local IT Infrastructure. In addition you will be primarily accountable for maintaining service levels for all aspects of the technology infrastructure including Network, Systems, Telephony, Security and Desktop Support.

- Ensure the monitoring of all aspects of the IT infrastructure (Servers, Networks, Storage, Telecom, Data Center) to ensure that core systems are available, scalable, and secure per company requirements.

Key Result Areas:

- Co-own strategizing the IT needs in terms of Infrastructure as per business requirements and GIS Roadmap.

- Represent the Asia South region in the global governance process in both the infrastructure and application maintenance agreements.

- Manage the Strategic Partners on a day to day basis in ensuring delivery standards, SLA and end user satisfaction.

- Be the first point of user escalation for all Infrastructure issues, should issues arise with the service levels or ticket completion.

- Implement and execute Infrastructure projects including planning and tracking by utilizing the global project process.

- Budgeting and tracking of all Infrastructure related costs

- Support business engagement through harmonized Infrastructure delivery

- Coordinate with Global Infrastructure groups and ensure consistent adherence to GIS standards and policies.

- Help define, fine tune and maintain local IT Infrastructure processes.

- Ensure proper and adequate IT and Security policy implementation and adherence.

- Excellent soft skills should be able to interface well with end users and partners.

- Scan technology trends and recommend options to the Global Infrastructure Organization.

- Conduct need based user training and orientation

- Evaluating / sort listing tactical solutions and vendors for Infrastructure

- Lead in the new product/services solution development. Responsible for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

- Responsible for running an ITIL compliant operation and enforcing security and ISO compliance requirements.

- Lead continuous improvement of organizational efficiencies through global alignment, standards, technology improvements, etc. Manage growth and development of direct reports and their team members. Implement performance standards and measurements to manage continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: B. E ; B Tech,

- Added advantage for : ITIL Certification, CCNA / CCNP Certification, PMP Certification

Experience:

- Managing Infrastructure for FMCG/ Consumer Goods/ White Goods companies of repute for 8 to 10 years

Expertise in:

- Senior Management of a global, geographically disbursed organization

- Demonstrated experience directly managing changes to increase infrastructure scalability and organizational efficiencies.

- Strong technology background with current knowledge of offerings and trends in cloud based technologies and vendors especially in virtualization and storage.

- ITIL framework

- Active Directory, Altiris, Windows OS,

- Managing End User Services, Personal computing

- Technologies for LAN, WAN, Video Conferencing and Information Workplace etc.
