Client Details

Our client is a global retail leader recognised among the most valuable brands world over in their domain of business. They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be driven by retail initiatives besides traditional business and want to become market leaders within the portfolio they cater to. They are looking for a Senior HR professional from Retail sector to drive the HR strategy for the India business.

Job Description

Reporting into the CEO you will be responsible to :

Prepare the manpower budget for the company

Prepare the recruitment policy guidelines and ensure compliance at the outlet and corporate level

Plan, direct, and coordinate Human Resource Management activities of the organisation to maximise the strategic use of human resources

Ensure a proactive HR function for employee relations, employee compensation, HR policies and regulatory compliance

Develop/ maintain and update training dossier for all technical and behavioural training

Profile

As a successful candidate you should have 12-15 years of experience in HR as a Generalist preferably in a Fashion/Retail/Lifestyle brand with strong exposure in Recruitment, Talent Management

Extensive experience in scaling up businesses-good hands on expertise in recruitment across levels within Retail/FMCG/Hospitality sector

Hands on experience in Training and Development

Excellent people management skills and charismatic personality

You should have significant experience in setting up HR from scratch

Inclination towards sports

Active lifestyle in terms of being fitness oriented (could be playing sports/running marathons or equivalent)

Diversity profile is a must
